I’m taking a short break over the holidays but want to extend my greetings for a blessed Christmas/Holiday season, however you celebrate it.
May you spend your days with the ones you love and never take one day for granted.

Also a special thank you for all the suggestions re good reads throughout this past year. I’ve enjoyed visiting your writers’ table whenever I’m looking for something new to sample. So many satisfying discoveries resulted from your recommendations, but your blog also stands as a steady reminder of the power of resilience and determination.
It became obvious a long while back that you have met many, many spirited people through your shared passion. It shines through your blog. I may not have met them in person (except through their written words!), but I wish a special 2014 to all.

Kathy, I imagine there is never a dull moment when you, your husband, your seven grandsons and your patient looking dog Max are all together. You’ve got that right, Barbara! When we have them all over, the parents know they have to accompany them! Have a wonderful Christmas, but I don’t think you can take a break from your social media. 🙂 Just kidding. Have fun with your 7 grandsons and your wonderful family. I am having 27 cousins and their children over for Christmas. Am I crazy? Not sure the food will be hot, but lots of fun!
